Staff Reports
 

(Further to correspondence considered and direction to staff at the November 13, 2019 meeting of Committee of the Whole) 

  • Recommendation:

    That the Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs receives report OPS2019-111 from the CAO and further directs staff to complete emergency repairs/reconstruction of Concession 16 East of Zion Church in order to ensure access to 362201 Concession 16 at an estimated cost of $25,000.00 to be funded from reserves.

Zoning By-laws
 

Being a By-law to adopt Amendment No. 8 to the Official Plan of the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

(Further to report PL.2019.49 and Resolution Number RES2019-283, passed at the September 4, 2019 Council meeting, and Recommendation Number COW2019-075 approved at the November 13, 2019 Committee of the Whole meeting)

  • Recommendation:

    Whereas, Council has given consideration to the written comments submitted by the agencies in the decision on proposed Official Plan Amendment Application OPA-8 for Barry's Construction and Insulation Ltd., for lands described as Part of Lot 9, Concession 7 and Part of Lots 71, 75, 78, 85-87 and unnamed street
    Registered Plan 117, Part 1, Plan 16R-10979; and

    Whereas Council has considered oral submissions made at the Public Meeting;

    Therefore be it resolved that Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs is satisfied that the proposed amendment is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement 2014 and other governing regulations; and

    That By-law 2019-123 be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation, and engrossed in the By-law Book.

Being a By-law to amend Zoning By-law No. 6-2003, as amended, of the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

  • Recommendation:

    Whereas, Council has given consideration to the written comments submitted by the agencies in the decision on proposed Zoning By-law Amendment Application  for Z-28-18, for Barry’s Construction and Insulation Ltd., for lands described as Part of Lot 9, Concession 7 and Part of Lots 71, 75, 78, 85-87 and unnamed street Registered Plan 117, Part 1, Plan 16R-10979; and

    Whereas Council has considered oral submissions made at the Public Meeting;

    Therefore be it resolved that Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs is satisfied that the proposed amendment is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement 2014 and other governing regulations; and

    That By-law 2019-124 be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation, and engrossed in the By-law Book.
