    That report LEG2021-20, By-law Enforcement Outsourcing Pilot Project, be received, and

    That Council hereby approves outsourcing by-law enforcement services to James Special Services Security Firm, on a pilot basis, running 12 hours per day, on Fridays, weekends and holidays throughout July, August, September and October 2021, and

    That By-law 2019-047, Purchasing Policy, and the requirement for a formal RFP process, is hereby waived to single source the pilot project to James Special Services Security Firm, and

    That costs to fund the pilot project be funded from the working capital reserve.

  • Recommendation:

    That report OPS2021-26, Sutacriti Heights Water Access, be received, and

    That Council hereby approves maintaining a public access point, open to vehicular access at the Sutacriti Heights water access point, for the purpose of launching small watercraft (i.e., Canoe, Kayak, etc.) and removal of water for agricultural purposes on the property adjacent to Sutacriti Park, and

    That staff are hereby directed to complete the identified and required improvements / repairs, at an upset budget limit of $10,000.00, to be funded from the General Roads Reserves, including clearly delineating a vehicle lane, separation stations to restrict vehicles from traversing onto pedestrian areas, installing appropriate signage, and improve sightlines.

Being a By-law to authorize a Joint Implementation and Participation Agreement with the Counties of Grey and Bruce, and participating lower tiers, for the purposes of Community Safety and Well Being planning.

Further to report LEG2021-18 and recommendation number COW2021-062 approved at the June 9, 2021 meeting of Committee of the Whole. 

  • Recommendation:

    That By-law 2021-046, being a By-law to authorize a Joint Implementation and Participation Agreement with the Counties of Grey and Bruce, and participating lower tiers, for the purposes of Community Safety and Well Being planning, be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed with the Seal of the Corporation, and engrossed in the By-law Book.
